Presidential Candidates Seek to Extend Health Benefits
The three remaining Presidential Candidate’s do not agree on healthcare, each candidate has actually completely different plans. Clinton plans to cover all American’s by mandating health insurance. Obama plans to cover all of America’s children in his plan through government programs. He plans to fund by taxing high-income households and using resources saved from ending the war in Iraq. McCain does not believe in a government run policy, he plans to decrease the cost of healthcare through other programs that would not mandate citizen’s to purchase health insurance plans.
Although the candidates do not agree on healthcare, and Clinton continually publicizes it by criticizing Obama’s health plan, the three candidates do agree on a proposal for the government to negotiate prices directly with the pharmaceutical companies for Medicare benefits. The candidates also agree on expanding the income eligibility to veterans who are seeking health benefits. After all that our troops have done for us, it’s important to care for them long after they return home.
