Humana Alters the HumanaOne Plan to Meet the Customer Needs
The Humana Health Insurance Company will no longer offer maternity to future applicants of the HumanaOne Plan. The first phase will eliminate the maternity option on February 9, 2008 from the following states: Alabama, Arkansas, Indiana, Iowa, Mississippi, Nebraska, Oklahoma, and South Carolina.
The second phase will eliminate the maternity option on March 1, 2008 from Utah.
The third and final phase will eliminate the maternity option on April 26, 2008 from the following states: Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Missouri, Nevada, North Carolina, Ohio, Texas, Tennessee, and Wisconsin.
Existing members will not be affected by these changes, but applicants will have a chance to receive the maternity if they are quoted before the dates listed above. To learn more about the HumanaOne Plan or other great health insurance plans, visit Health Plan One.
